Krisha Marcano
Creative Career Coach
Hi, Creative Friends! My name is Krisha Marcano, and I am the founder and Creative Career Coach at The Artistry Center Network, LLC.
My background is primarily in concert dance and musical theater, spending my early career dancing in companies like The Martha Graham Dance Company & The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater; then transitioning to Broadway where I was blessed to do a number of great broadway hits like Fosse, Disney's Aida, Sweet Charity, originating the role of Squeak in Oprah's 2005 production of The Color Purple, and Motown the Musical.
I am now an Assistant Professor of Theater Dance & Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Entrepreneurial Studies for School of Drama at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
While on Broadway, I volunteered as the co-chair of the Business Group at Career Transition for Dancers for 7 years and realized I could continue to be of service teaching entrepreneurial and artistic wellness by creating The Artistry Center Network, LLC.
I've lived, survived, and thrived as a dancer, singer, actor in New York City, I've toured nationally and internationally, I've started a number of companies and continue to speak on the importance of Art in Education, Innovation, and 'The Businesses of Tomorrow'.
