Apply Now: 2024 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship


Are you a New York State-based artist working in Fiction, Folk/Traditional Arts, Interdisciplinary Work, Painting, or Video/Film? You could be eligible for a NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship, an $8,000 unrestricted cash grant available to artists living in New York State and/or one of the Tribal Nations located therein.

We're accepting applications through 5:00 PM ET on Wednesday, December 13.



 

Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants

This program provides one-time grants of up to $3,000 to professional dancers in need, who are in dire financial emergency. You must demonstrate an urgent and critical need for emergency support in your application, and live in the United States, the District of Columbia, a Tribal Nation, or a U.S. Territory. The next application deadline is 5:00 PM ET December 1.


 

Culture Lab LIC's Emergence Artist Residency is a developmental performing arts program geared toward the support and creation of new work. It offers artists & companies free rehearsal and performance space to develop and produce new performance based work.


Always wanted to find the space and time to write your tech-hybrid dance show? Well, this is the residency for you!


Works created at Culture Lab LIC will be showcased on one of Culture Lab's stages and presented and promoted as a part of the Culture Lab LIC’s Emergence Artist New Works Festival this November. Artists retain creative rights to the work created.



 

Deadline: December 19, 2023

In this grant cycle, MAP will distribute $2.8M to more than 90 new live performance projects. Each selected team will receive a $25,000 grant for the creation of a performance project, a $5,000 unrestricted general operating grant, and a $1,000 micro-grant to redistribute to an artist in their community.


 

Anna Rabinowitz Award



The Anna Rabinowitz Prize is awarded to poets and their collaborators for venturesome, interdisciplinary work made in the previous year and combining poetry and any other art or discipline.


Work that qualifies includes but is not limited to books that blend visual art and poetry, original performances of dance and poetry (or dance based on poetry) and of music and poetry (including libretti based on poetry) as well as more eclectic collaborations involving poetry and technology, the sciences or math.
